Learning and working together
The Action Learning for Directors program introduces you to the basic principles of action-based learning, the common thread running through all WIAL Netherlands programs. It ensures that you really listen to each other, learn to understand the context, have the real conversation and work on reflective capacity.
During the action learning process, you will learn to achieve better team dialogues. Learn to increase your ability to do complex problem solving. You will experience what it is like to ask open questions and to ask more questions about the answer. And how this contributes to the growth of psychological safety in a team.

What others are saying
"By consistently asking open-ended questions, we better get to the heart of a topic.
It inspires me and leads to new insights. WIAL's guiding role is of great value in this."
Trudy Prins
Director and Supervisor in Healthcare
"Action Learning is a great tool for approaching a complex issue. Open-ended questions force you to completely let go of your own perspective. Once you get the hang of it, the questions bring the real conversation to the table."
Anja Stunnenberg

"The program teaches me how teams can become more effective. The art of asking 'open-ended questions' really needs to be learned!
By making sure that really everyone can have their input you are exploiting the potential that is there."
