Mariët Tonen
Mariët has extensive experience as an (interim) manager in healthcare and as a coach and trainer in various sectors.
She is driven to be a bridge between practice and policy; to bring both perspectives together.
Mariët has guided various change processes with the aim of making them as simple and effective as possible, in which people feel optimally supported. By nature, she observes and analyzes situations in order to support teams and individuals in discovering how qualities can be deployed optimally.
Over the years Mariët has continued to develop herself and has taken various courses and trainings regarding management, innovation, ethics and utilizing the knowledge of all individuals in a group. As a result, she views situations from different perspectives and this not infrequently leads to unconventional proposals. One of the ways she does this is by first listening carefully and naming similarities and coaching people to a solution that suits them.
Mariët is enthusiastic about Action Learning because it really leads to profound change. It prompts team members in a positive way to want to discover what is going on with a colleague or in an issue. As a result, teams grow and the efficiency and effectiveness of the team increases and WIAL can get out of the way. She enjoys working within WIAL Netherlands with the other coaches and also putting the WIAL method into practice together. Practise what you preach.
