Team psychological safety, first introduced by Professor Amy Edmondson of Harvard, is a shared belief among team members that the team is safe to take interpersonal risks.

When Google analyzed 180 internal teams to find out why some teams worked much better together than others, they concluded that it does not matter who is on the team, but how team members interact with each other.
Google found that the teams with the best performance had the highest level of team psychological safety.

For each team

It is often thought that Team Psychological Safety is only important for teams where things are not right between them, but nothing could be further from the truth.

Team Psychological Safety is the core for any team to advance to the level of High Performance Team; And to stay at that level.

On average, people work in more than 8 teams at the same time. Often we see people behaving differently in one team than in another. It is still the same person, but the team composition, environment and the culture and tools of cooperation are different which makes me show and hear more or less, develop and add value to the team task.

A scientific foundation, team scan, intervention plan to grow and tools to operationalize this with a team is what this online training will bring you and your teams.

Dr. Peter Cauwelier

Peter Cauwelier (Team As One) has a PhD in the field of Team Psychological Safety and, partly based on the research of Amy Edmondson, has managed to make a practical translation into a set that can be used in one's own practice. Part of this set are a Team measurement, tools to design interventions and a theoretical foundation. This is fully supported by Amy Edmondson. The training of gives you the opportunity to make this set your own and use it in your own daily practice.

Team As One has certified WIAL Netherlands/Twan Paes to be the only partner in the Netherlands to teach the certified program TPS. We as WIAL Netherlands are very happy and proud of this.
