Reg Revans talks about the origins of action learning in this film. Here comes the impact of the insight his father's research into the cause of the sunken Titanic gave him as a young boy. But also dialogue with ten Nobel Prize winners including Albert Einstein. They all influenced the creation and growth of the action learning method.
Reg Revans says he has seen there that people try to convince each other that they are right. That "expert-knowledge" is very important, but not enough!
We must teach ourselves to ask totally different questions in order to discover and learn to understand. And in doing so, Revans indicates: and that is what Action Learning is!

The podcast series originated during a conversation between Toon Gerbrands and Twan Paes. At the time, Toon had just published his new book, in which he exposes 52 sacred management houses. Toon and Twan were curious how people viewed these sacred management houses. That led to fifty podcasts with people from a very diverse background. And that led to fascinating and inspiring stories.
