Privacy Statement

The Privacy Policy was created January 6, 2020 and last amended on April 7, 2020.
Content amendment on April 7, 2020 concerns the addition of the newly offered form: Online.

Privacy
WIAL Netherlands understands that you do not want to share your personal and study information with everyone. This is why WIAL Nederland handles this information with care. WIAL Nederland complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). WIAL Netherlands does need your data to be able to help you properly. In this statement, WIAL Netherlands explains what data WIAL Netherlands needs from you and what WIAL Netherlands uses it for.

WIAL Online handling standards

We assume that each participant maintains normal business manners as they are common physically also online.

The host of an online meeting invites people to participate. This is always done with the addition of a password to participate in the particular meeting. This ensures that no one can join the session uninvited.

Throughout the session, each participant has the video function on. This is to be able to look participants in the eyes and deduce communication not only from words but also from facial expressions.

In principle, every participant has his/her microphone on, however, in case there is the idea of noise pollution, someone can temporarily turn off his/her microphone. If you want to add something or your opinion is asked for you turn the microphone back on.

The host of an online meeting can mute and unmute everyone. For example, the host can mute if there is so much noise that the speaker cannot be heard well enough by everyone. In case the host chooses one of these options he will inform the other participants.

In case of recording (film/photo) of part or all of the digital training and guidance, the participant will be asked in advance if he/she agrees to this. In case of multiple participants, the No of one of the participants is decisive.

Without the agreement of the participants, nothing of what is discussed and shown during the online meeting may be shared outside of this session. In that case, the host or WIAL may possibly only make outline reports of the event taking into account the WIAL Netherlands privacy policy and the confidentiality declared during the online meeting.

WIAL Netherlands is not responsible for the methods and actions of the party the online environment is used from. For now, WIAL Online uses the paid version of Zoom. If the participant wishes, he or she can discuss another online provider. By participating in a WIAL Online meeting, participant agrees to the above.

Storage of your data
WIAL Nederland stores the personal data WIAL Nederland receives from you or your employer. This includes, for example, data that WIAL Nederland receives during the registration process for a training, team-coaching, team-ownership, consulting or research assignment (also when the process is dropped), when you sign up for a newsletter, article, paper, download an E-Book or when you contact WIAL Nederland by phone or email. Among other things, we collect and store the following personal data:

• Name (first and last name), address and other contact information.
• Data related to the training, team-coaching, team-ownership, consulting or research assignment for which you have applied, including payment information.
• Your feedback on the training, team coaching, team ownership, consulting or research assignment and other information you provide.
• Personal data as part of your training, team-coaching, team-ownership, consulting or research assignment, such as your attendance, any results and whether you completed them (successfully).

Use of your data
WIAL Netherlands uses your personal data for the following purposes:

• Registration and administrative processing of your participation in your chosen training, team-coaching, team-ownership, consulting or research.
• Provision of your chosen training, team coaching, team ownership, consulting or research.
• Conduct analyses so that WIAL Netherlands can improve its services.
• Advise on a course to be taken, team coaching, team ownership, consulting or research.
• Keeping you informed of all our services and products.
• Send you the documents/information you requested and respond to your inquiries.
• Comply with the laws and regulations applicable to us on education as prescribed by the (State) government.

Further Comments

• WIAL Netherlands anonymizes the personal data that WIAL Netherlands uses for analyses. You are therefore unrecognizable in our analyses.
• WIAL Netherlands may make your personal data available to its accreditation organizations. In connection with obtaining and maintaining accreditation for one of our products and services, WIAL Netherlands is required by law to provide the committees responsible for accreditation with access to personal data at times. WIAL Netherlands keeps this to a minimum.
• In some cases, WIAL Netherlands works with external service providers, such as action learning coaches, teachers, trainers, consultants or facilitators and examination agencies. They may only use your data for the performance of those services that are in the interest of your training, team-coaching, team-ownership, consultancy or research. They may not contact you for other purposes or disclose your data to other parties.
• Finally, WIAL Netherlands may be required by law to share your data by government agencies or other parties. WIAL Netherlands then shares only the strictly necessary data.

Newsletter and subscriber list
With our newsletter we inform interested parties about news in the field of our services and everything related to them. Your e-mail address will only be added to WIAL Netherlands' list of subscribers if you give your consent. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe and/or change your preferences.

Security and retention period of your data
WIAL Nederland protects your personal data against misuse and access by unauthorized persons through the techniques currently available for this purpose. WIAL Nederland retains your personal data for as long as required by law. In the interest of improving its services, WIAL Nederland may retain your data for longer, but in that case WIAL Nederland will always anonymize the data.

Viewing, correcting, updating and deleting your data
You may always view and/or correct or update your personal data. In addition, you may ask WIAL Nederland to delete your data and no longer use it. WIAL Nederland can also convert digital data, such as an enrollment confirmation or study agreement, into a document for you to print.
Would you like to perform any of the above actions? If so, please contact us by phone. WIAL Netherlands will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within 4 weeks. If you wish to have your data deleted, WIAL Nederland first checks whether this is permitted by law (already). If WIAL Netherlands is not (yet) permitted by law to delete your data, WIAL Netherlands will let you know and indicate the next time WIAL Netherlands can delete your data.

Use and operation of cookies
WIAL Netherlands uses cookies on its website. Cookies are small text files that are automatically placed on your computer when you use the Internet. A cookie records, for example, which web pages you view and which options you use. WIAL Netherlands uses this data, among other things, to make its website more user-friendly.
In addition to cookies that ensure, for example, that you only have to enter data once, WIAL Netherlands uses functional, analytical and advertising cookies.
