Bert is a true generalist. Has worked his way up to officer within the fire department and gained a lot of experience working with teams there. He was also involved in educating, training and coaching teams. After his time with the fire department, Bert started working as a business coach. Bert switches easily between the different layers in organizations.

Bert is analytically very strong and knows how to create overview quickly, he achieves this by asking the right questions. This challenges teams to look at challenges and developments with a broader scope.

After mts mechanical engineering, Bert later obtained his Bachelor of Higher Management, MBA and Master of Management Science (MSc) part-time. This always focused on team development. He completed his Master with research on team flow.

Within WIAL Netherlands, as a partner and as a WIAL Netherlands Action Learning Coach, Bert is supportive in personal leadership development of team members and in growth as a team in a variety of sectors and disciplines.
